Fresh Ginger










If you’re like me, you buy a hunk of fresh ginger for a recipe, use the small amount that you need, and then the ginger dries up and goes to waste.

All you  have to do is peel the whole thing, and freeze it.  You can just pull it out, and grate or mince it, without even thawing it!

Cake Decorating









To avoid the annoying crumbs-in-the-icing while decorating a cake, first cover the cake with 10x sugar.

Sticky Dough











When working with sticky bread or pizza dough, put olive oil on your rolling pin and hands.  It works so much better than flour!
