I just had a really random, fun idea. What if, once a month, one of us chooses a recipe and posts it and then we all make it and report back with our results and pictures? Wouldn’t it be grand to see all of our variations on one particular recipe?

Here’s how it would work. Let me know if you have a better way to make this flow.

On the first of the month, someone posts a recipe that they’ve never made before. (Try to keep it relatively cheap. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather not spend my savings on octopus or truffles.) Then, over the next couple of weeks, we all make it, photograph it, and report back here with our results, variations, pictures, ideas, etc. To make it run smoothly, I think the original recipe should have it’s own post and then all of our results, we can lump together in one post. So whoever makes it first will start a draft and we can each add our own findings when we get a chance. On the last day of the month, we will then publish it for the world to view…since the world is watching, and all!

So, who wants to join me on some Cookin’ Adventures? I’ll kick it off on November 1st!

I was exploring this new blog I found: and discovered a lot of fun things. I always love presentation, surprise and unexpected touches – making food a creative or fun experience. If only we had the time…

I’ve recently tried coloring my pancakes. Blue are my favorite to eat. I’ll post that adventure later!

So…I’m getting married. And I think dessert will be cupcakes. Many different delicious kinds.

Can I use this space for two things?

1. A vote! What sounds good to you?

2. A calling – I’m going to start baking new cupcakes to try over the next few months. Have any recipes to share???
